Although peer-to-peer fundraising isn't directly integrated, users have the option to creatively repurpose the versatile donation pages for this purpose. In comparison, Auctria focuses primarily on donation pages and custom giving amounts without providing the broader range of donation features that Event.Gives offers. This positions Event.Gives as a comprehensive solution for organizations seeking an extensive suite of tools to support their diverse fundraising strategies and objectives.

3. Vote-To-Donate

Event.Gives enables vote-to-donate events, fostering a unique and engaging fundraising experience beyond traditional galas. Auctria’s platform does not support Vote-to-Donate events. 

4. Virtual & Hybrid Events

Event.Gives presents a comprehensive solution for virtual and hybrid events, encompassing a range of features designed to enhance attendee engagement. These features include real-time donor recognition, allowing organizers to acknowledge supporters in the moment, and a live chat function that encourages interactive participation. The platform's zero latency streaming ensures smooth and immediate content delivery, while the option for live streaming, available for an additional fee of $500, offers flexibility for dynamic event experiences. In contrast, Auctria primarily caters to live auctions and does not offer specific features tailored for virtual or hybrid events. This positions Event.Gives as a platform well-suited for organizations seeking to optimize their virtual and hybrid events with tools that foster attendee interaction and seamless content delivery.

5. Support & Customer Service

Pre-event consulting is something we all need at one point or another, and depending on what your experience level is with both fundraising events and/or the software you are using, it could be a deciding factor for which platform you use. Event.Gives offers free consulting and coaching leading up to your event so that you are equipped with best practices and little tips to get the most out of our software. Auctria offers 1:1 Customer Support for an extra cost of $100 and no 1:1 Demos. With only Auctria’s Diamond + Launch plan, remote support is available. Event.Gives offers Remote ($350) and Onsite ($750 + travel) support to all events for a fixed rate.

Auctria empowers bidders to set maximum bids, automatically placing new bids until reaching their specified limit. This is a strategic feature that increases engagement in silent auctions and can make an impact on funds raised. While Event.Gives is developing this feature, it's not yet available.
