Welcome to Independent Animal Rescue's 19th Annual Painted Chair Auction for the Animals! We are excited for another fun and successful fundraiser to benefit dogs and cats in need across the Triangle area.

Here is what to expect this year:

WHAT: An online Silent Auction, culminating in a Virtual Live Auction Event!

WHEN: Wednesday, Sept 8 - Silent auction bidding begins.

Thursday, Sept 23 @ 7:30 PM- Virtual Live Auction, Raffle, and Donation Paddle Raise.

To join the virtual live auction event on September 23 at 7:30 PM, click play on the video that will appear where the colorful PCA banner and logo are at the top of this page with the words  "Start Event"

Friday, Sept 24 @ 8:00 PM - Silent Auction bidding closes.

WHERE: The comfort of your home! This virtual event means you can participate from anywhere you'd like! Just visit this event website from your computer, phone, or tablet.

WHY: To raise $40,000 in support of IAR's life-saving rescue, adoption, spay/neuter, and educational programs. You can donate directly to IAR here (click donate) or at https://animalrescue.net/donate-online/

Item Pick Up There are several opportunities for you to pick up any auction items you won. Plan to come to the IAR office on one of these dates/times to get your items:

Independent Animal Rescue has been a part of the Durham-Chapel Hill and surrounding areas for 25 years. Our mission is to rescue and care for cats and dogs in need and reduce the suffering of unwanted animals through our adoption, spay/neuter, and community education programs.

This event will help fund IAR's major programs. Last year, IAR rescued and found homes for 233 dogs and 702 cats. IAR also spayed/neutered over 1000 feral cats and enabled the spay/neuter of nearly 600 owned pets in the community. We cannot do this important work without your support!
